In our Junior Kindergarten class for 2 1/2 to 5 year olds, we try to create a learning environment that is exciting, nurturing and comforting. At SCP we believe in creating opportunities where children can explore and manipulate to facilitate rewarding experiences while learning. This is encouraged through use of the most current educational development materials and emergent curriculum incorporating Montessori, Core Knowledge, Reggio Emilia philosophies and Early Childhood Education methods. Sandcastle Park believes that children learn most effectively when they are actively involved. We encourage self-expression, the growth of a strong, creativity, social interaction, positive self-concept and integrated learning.
